《訣別夕陽的時刻 Farewell to Sunset》
我向夕陽訣別,如同對往事的告別。
回想起參與喪禮的當下,帳蓬內隆重的氣息與周遭事物格格不入,彷彿帳篷內外如同時空的斷點般,各自獨立,但卻也深深吸引我的目光。
《溫室:記憶的偏差》系列,來自於我在禮俗中的視覺印象,如:儀式中的物件造形、色彩和內容。我藉由這些視覺記憶來創作此系列作品。繪畫成為我個人式的緬懷,同時也是我回應環境、地景的觀察;拼貼則建立我對物件的想像,藉由影像的零碎拼貼,想像著時空堆疊後的樣貌,同時思考著視覺印象與時空交錯後而產生的記憶感知。
I bid farewell to the setting sun, much like a final goodbye to the past.
Reflecting on my presence at a funeral, the solemn atmosphere within the tent felt out of sync with the surrounding environment, as if the inside and outside of the tent existed in separate temporal realities. Yet, this contrast deeply captivated my attention.
The series Greenhouse: Deviation of Memory originates from the visual impressions I gathered during traditional rituals, including the forms, colors, and symbolic meanings of objects used in the ceremonies. Through these visual recollections, I create this body of work. Painting becomes my personal act of remembrance, while also serving as a response to my observations of the environment and landscape. Collage, on the other hand, constructs my imagined relationship with objects, utilizing fragmented imagery to speculate on the layered nature of time and space. Simultaneously, I explore how visual impressions intersect with time to shape our perception of memory.
